Ho ho one of my favorites recently I love the little soft noodles with shrimp and add some sriracha its delicious

We ordered off the Dim Sum menu. It was delicious. It was soooo good. They were out of 1/2 of the dim sum items but they had almost all of what we like. The bbq beef dumplings, pork dumplings, shrimp shumi, stuffed sticky rice balls, ribs, and the cheese wontons. Everything was good and was a great price. Feed 4 people for under $37. They serve dim sum for breakfast and have more options on the weekend.

We go to Ho Ho on Saturdays for Chinese breakfast (DIM SUM) where they bring out little carts with prepared plates that cost from 3 to 4 each and you can mix and match to create a unique dining experience. If you have not been to DIM SUM this is a great place to try it. The place is old the owners are very nice but it should be due for a remodel soon but even it they don't remodel we will continue to go there every 4 months or so.

I'm not easily pleased with restaurants especially Chinese because I lived in the NYC area for several years. This place has been around for over 40 years and with good reason. The food is always exceptional. It looks like a dive when you go in but don't let that fool you. My favorites are shrimp in lobster sauce and chicken with snow peas.

Large portions. Great for sharing. No fountain sodas available. Others at my table didn't love the taste, like maybe old oil was used? We had soo much leftovers.

Good food and great attendance good dumplings and orange chicken. I recommend dumplings with pork.

I have been going here for years! Consistency of the food is always on point, Portions are large and taste is untouchable! It's def a hole in the wall but those tend to have the best foods!

I love this place. My family has been going here for quite a few yrs. The taste and quality is divine. The prices are very reasonable and they serve you family style so usually my family just chooses a few entrees and a soup or appetizer for all and we are set. We are so full every time we leave there. It is delicious.

I had to write a review. Casual, family friendly, AUTHENTIC Chinese food, engaging owner and staff. Very mom and pop feel. Portions are large. 1 dinner meal could be shared between 2 adults easy.

Great shrimp, chickens feet, clams, fried rice, dim sum & veggies with seafood platter.

Our go to place for large portions and good Cantonese food!

Good food fast without being fast food

Words can't explain how I love the greatest Chinese Food in the state! I've been going for over 15 yrs, and not one time it ever disappointed. Always leave full and Portions are out of this world!

Excellent food or delicious attention

This is the best Chinese restaurant in the state, and probably one of the best overall. The food is all so good, and you get so much for how much you're paying. Locals know it's good because it is always packed.

Really dirty restaurant with barely average food. Only thing worth mentioning is the dim sum, and even then half the menu is unavailable

I've eaten here for years and have always loved it! I visited Hong Kong a few years ago and after eating the food there for 2 weeks I realized just how authentic and amazing the food at Ho Ho's is. If you want amazing, authentic Chinese food you've come to the right place!

Dim Sum is awesome! I highly recommend going as a family or a fun group of friends. The desserts they bring are tasty. The sticky buns are phenomenal!

Dim sum is great. I usually get the chicken lo mein, with the Cantonese crispy style noodles.

Very good dim sum, well worth it. Very fast service. While the outside doesn't look promising, as they say, don't judge a book by its cover.

Edit 3 days later: the dumpling soup was delicious and hearty, the vegetable soup was delicious and hearty and the meal portions were huge and delicious. Will definitely be making the trek from the burbs to this delicious hole in the wall again soon!Hoping the food is good. The place is a dump and wondering if the place is at all sanitary..we won't start on the neighborhood...

I love all the food here no matter what you eat. This place is been around for a long time and definitely has earned its reputation for good food. Used to live here and go here all the time. Now I live in Vegas and anytime I'm in town I stop and eat. Don't pass up this little hole-in-the-wall place. It may not look great on the inside but you won't be disappointed once you leave.

Been coming here since I was 10 and have the fondest memories here. The place is a bit run down, which isn't necessarily bad but the food is really good and their portions are huge for the price. They're really good if you're having a big party because you can rent out their upstairs and have some privacy there. I suggest this place to friends all the time but tell them to not judge the place based on the appearance, wait until they try the food first.

Shrimp dumplings, chicken pan fried noodles, and the dumpling soup are some of my favorite things to get.

The amount of food they provide is outstanding comparing to the price. Their flounder fry is mouth watering.. Loved my dinner over there..

If you want real and good Chinese food you come here! The Chinese buffets are terrible compared to this place, The House Special fried rice is the best in Salt Lake

This place is great! It's mostly American-style, Cantonese-influenced Chinese cuisine, but it's really good at that! We like to judge Chinese restaurants by how well they do the most stereotypically American dish: General Tso's chicken. And here it was amaaaaaazing. We also had the green bean beef, which was absolutely lovely. Definitely coming again.

Love the food. Been going here since I was a kid. The food is as authentic Chinese as you can get in Salt Lake City. It's a whole in the wall, service isn't so great, avoid using bathrooms if you can, but again the food is amazing! Get your Dim Sum on!

Took my wife here on a first date. It was one of the few places open late. I didn't know she was a vegetarian and didn't eat forgein food. She loved the food and so did I.

House special Lo mein, salt bake shrimp & their dim sum is what I keep coming back for. Yes the place isn't well kept & bathroom gross as hell but food delicious. Only 1 time they didn't cook the steam pork thoroughly but other than that it's a great Asian restaurant.

The staff was very kind and the food portion was really huge. The food overall were very good I would definitely go back for more! However, on the menu it said spicy but it was not spicy at all so the taste has been modified for Americans I guess. But there are sriracha on the table so you can adjust the spicy level as you want.
